The San Diego Addiction Treatment Center (SDATC) program specializes in helping men from across the U.S. begin their journey to long-term recovery. Using a co-occurring disorders approach, we evaluate and treat you or your loved one according to the unique addiction history, behavioral health issue, and past experiences you bring to SDATC. This facility is a highly-disciplined, supervised treatment environment that uses researched-based therapy and a qualified, supportive staff.
Men Only Environment
It’s difficult for many people to admit they have an addiction, and even harder for some to “open up” and share their feelings. Addiction treatment in an all-male group has its advantages. In a single sex environment, many clients find that they experience fewer distractions, a recovery environment with less pressure, and the ability to access honest peer support among other men that helps keep their focus on the recovery process.
During the addiction treatment program, clients work on developing an aftercare plan with recovery objectives and action steps to take following discharge. After treatment, we’ll help you find the next step in your recovery journey, whether it’s another AAC facility or step-down, a sober living house, or other community resources.
